**Job Description** Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**
The Faculty of Medical & Health Sciences seeks to appoint a** Research Programme Coordinator** to support researchers in the School of Medicine (SOM). Ou Research Programme Coordinator’s (RPC) are crucial in supporting our researchers with effective research project coordination, navigation of research support services and operational pre-award and post-award support.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exemplary operational research support to allocated researchers throughout the research lifecycle, navigating researchers to the appropriate functions.
- Providing support and advice to researchers on the development of funding proposals, including initial budget costing, collecting relevant information and internal approvals ensuring Funder/Client and University requirements are met.
- Proactively supporting a portfolio of research grants providing both financial and non-financial post-award support, including variations and closure of active projects.
- Providing a first-class administrative and operational service to researchers contributing to the planning, delivery, and implementation of research projects.
This is a **fulltime** (37.5 hours per week), **permanent** opportunity.
The remuneration is $63,000 - $67,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.

The Research Services team at the Faulty of Medical and Health Science facilitate our researchers to carry out ground-breaking research that changes health outcomes for our communities. We’re proud of our flat structure that facilitates collaboration and allows people to flourish.
The role reports to a Research Programme Manager and works alongside a supportive team of other Research Programme Coordinators.
**Qualifications** He kōrero mōu | About you**
You will be a highly organised, flexible and meticulous individual. You will have comprehensive experience in the research support sector or the equivalent experience navigating within a complex organisation involving multiple stakeholders, utilising numerous administrative systems. Experience working in a tertiary or research-intensive environment will be an advantage.
