The research function at the University is undergoing a transition to a fully integrated ‘Hub and Spoke’ operating model for delivery of research services. The proposed model aims to unify strategic, policy, and operational aspects, with a central "Hub" providing expertise and local "Spokes" offering support within faculties and institutes. This will include reviewing and executing agreements, subcontracts and variations for standard research grants and escalating complex contracts when specialist advice is required. This role works with administrative staff to complete necessary post-award updates in the University’s research management systems to enable the activation of standard research grants by the Research Operations Centre.

You will also:

- Ensure that all necessary steps in the University’s research management systems are completed to ensure the timely activation of standard grants, subcontracts and variations.
- Provide regular updates to researchers and faculty-based research management and administration teams on the status and progress of assigned contracts, subcontracts and variations.
