The purpose of the Business and Rosters Coordinator role is to provide rostering support to a range of RNZ departments, coordinating and managing leave, News rosters and doing other projects such as travel and accommodation for planned events, for example helping Journalists and staff plan for when attending sports events, like the Olympics.
The role will be varied and would suit somebody with a strong attention to detail, and great communication skills.

**Responsibilities**:
- Managing and coordinating a range of rosters for RNZ, including News, Content, Radio, Technical & business sustainability teams, including liaising with managers to efficiently staff rosters and events.
- Planning and coordination of travel and accommodation for News staff, in particular for group bookings.
- Support C-Level with administration and diary coordination as required.
- Support the Director of Business Sustainability with administrative tasks and project co-ordination.
- Coordination of leave rosters/leave planning for news staff and reporters/journalists.
- Liaising with Payroll and supporting timesheet queries with managers and staff where required.
- Organising catering and other supplies for RNZ functions and other various occasions.
**Ōu Pūkenga - About You**:
- No formal qualification is required for this role, however previous experience in administration, particularly coordination and logístical support is a must.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, and adopt a flexible approach to problem solving would be necessary.
- A cheerful and positive attitude when dealing with staff and stakeholders at all times would also be crucial.
