About the Role
Customer Partnerships Lead is a senior leadership role that will be responsible for managing their allocated accounts, across segmentations for the customer lifecycle against the strategic plan, growth, relationships, market brand, delivery, and sustainability of our customer portfolio.
A Customer Partnerships Lead will be allocated clients depending on where the client is in the relationship (sales) lifecycle and mapped against your skill set.
For your customer portfolio, both existing and prospective, you will be responsible for the strategy, growth, sustainability, and profitability. Along with ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, there is significant latitude to shape Datacom’s offerings in response to evolving market and customer needs. This encourages and suits an entrepreneurial spirit utilising your extensive Executive level relationships and deep customer relationships to identify future opportunities for Datacom.
What you’ll bring
- Proven ability to secure new and to grow account revenue and profitability.
- Ability to lead and story tell at presentations and confidently sell Datacoms offerings.
- Ability to write high quality proposal documents.
- Financial/commercial/contractual analysis, management, and governance. - Demonstrated Negotiation skills
- Ability to partner with our clients
- Experience across Sales and or Delivery in Technology consulting organisations

**Responsibilities**:
**Strategy & Growth**:

- Strategic planning and execution of acquisition for new customers in your value creation role.
- Focused on new customer acquisition and the exceptional growth (white space) within our existing and new customer portfolio.
- Net new customers into Datacom’s portfolio, that positively contribute to our revenue and margin performance.
- Execution of significant new business opportunities within your customer portfolio in your value realisation role.

**Collaborate with wider Datacom to deliver**:

- Development of a customer portfolio strategy that will deliver growth & profitability.
- Focus on excellent service delivery for contracted services and incremental growth along with identification of significant business opportunities within your client base.
- Lead and manage the team in the execution of the account plan and objectives and provide regular periodic updates on progress to plan.

**Relationships**:

- Responsibility for Executive level account relationships and partner engagement focused on the development of enduring relationships that are value driven across the region, and wider, for the benefit of all Datacom Group.
- Be active in the market and recognised as a person with influence and presence.
- The Customer Partnerships Lead will have a customer focussed/market facing priority, with the goal to develop long term quality engagements with typically large public and private New Zealand organisations.
- Building value-based relationships in our accounts whilst developing key relationships (and ecosystems) that strategically enable you to deliver on Datacom objectives.

**Delivery**:

- Excellent service delivery for customers with contracted services. Incremental growth of these contracted customers along with focus on identification of significant new business opportunities
- Ensure all delivery is well planned and executed with excellence. Ensuring the right people, commercials and governance are in place to deliver successfully to our customers. This constant creation of value will in turn drive business growth and profitability for Datacom.
- Responsible for contributing to the development a high-performing, industry recognised team of Customer focused professionals who shape and orient Datacom’s customer relationships to a one based on the creation of customer value at every opportunity.
- Focus on driving continuous improvement and developing innovative and creative solutions that add value to Datacom and our customers.
