This Customer Development Executive position is both a key contributor to the eCommerce team and a developmental position. The role has the responsibility to support the rapid eCommerce sales growth and provide analytical and marketing support across our customer base in our key eCommerce pureplay accounts Pet Direct, PetStock, Pet.co as well as manage smaller eCommerce pureplay customers such as PetDepot, MyVet and Online Vet Store. Further Vet channel accounts like “United Vet Group” as well as VetWorld’s staff loyalty program and the drop ship platform “Storbie” are amongst others and a key part of the account portfolio too.

The role reports to the Customer Development manager eCommerce, providing support to the eCommerce customer portfolio.

Support includes, but is not limited to, customer website audits and compliance checks, customer data analytic interpretation and visualisation, ROI analysis, invoice and claim processing, maintaining power SKU portfolio, ATLAS sales planning and forecasting & Test & learn ecommerce projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Customer Engagement**
- Accounts category review analysis, reporting & monthly health checks
- Input and present at key internal and external meetings
- Enhancing customer relationships & negotiation
- Volume and activity planning
- Tracking A&P and GTN spend in line with budget & contracts
- Processing claims and invoices weekly
- Collating competitive intelligence insights to assist sales analysis
- Preparation and participation in account meetings
- Present and attend at strategic eCommerce meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with NZ’s customer loyalty and puppy pre-school programs to a new paperless system
- Drive and support growth of Hill’s NZ staff feeding program

**Business Development**
- Managing online content standards across our 6P+A eCommerce shelf guide
- Ensure e-Commerce customers’ compliance with Hill’s distribution policies
- Promotional planning & submissions, ATLAS forecasting and NPD/line extensions and transitions submissions
- Manage ROI margin calculator to ensure correct funding levels
- Responsive action to make changes from commercial decisions
- Coordination of clearance for obsolete and deleted stock
- Communicating key account pricing and competitor activity
- Saving, formatting and analysing sales and share customer data from key retailers for reporting
- Update eComm channel sales, promotional and event calendars
- Preparation and communication of campaigns - e.g. Dental, Weight, Puppy & Kitten etc.
- Assist with briefing and approval of digital assets for the local market to be used by NZ customers
- Assist in preparation of customer JBP and terms negotiation
- Assist CDM in being a point of contact for the field team in managing other eCommerce retailers
- Assist and investigate proactively opportunities to expand and grow eBusiness capabilities in the NZ market

**Analytics and Insights sharing**
- Support in Managing all customer eCommerce data points and assist with analysis and reporting
- Key analytical interpretation and highlighting opportunities
- Analyse and interpret customer data to improve ROI and promotional activities
- Utilise customer specific data for insights from unique customer data points
- Utilise tools such as Tableau and ATLAS to gather and analyse data and opportunities

**Meetings / Presentations**
- Preparing and participating in account meetings
- Prepare and present at Internal Commercial Meetings
- Participate in internal forecasting collaboration meetings
- Participate and present at wellness and therapeutic meetings
- Present and attend strategic eCommerce customer meetings
- Prepare and participate in field sales meetings and report on any eCommerce activations, where applicable
- Prepare and participate in customer meetings, where applicable

**Required Qualification**:

- Holds a Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years sales experience
