**Job Summary**:
As a Hill’s Customer Development Manager, you are key to building & growing our Brand in the Pet, Vet & ecommerce market. You are passionate about elevating Hill’s business by translating brand strategies into sales & marketing plans to drive category, share & sales for Hill’s & our retail partners.

You are someone who is passionate about delivering results for the team & will be seen by our partners as great to do business with. Ideally, you are currently working within the Pet or FMCG industry, and managing the day to day. You’re comfortable developing strategic plans that will elevate your engagement & with your customers and are a clear and concise communicator.

You know how to work with your buyers to deliver a best in class partnership to ensure mutual growth is being delivered & you know what buttons to push to get the best ROI or ROO.

You are organised, efficient & passionate about results, and constantly curious on new and innovative ways to work with customers. Never worked in the Pet Industry? That’s okay We love to share the love about what we know as a global pet nutrition leader.

Roles & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Own all elements of the Customer P&L, manage 5Ps, forecasting and planning from beginning to end internally & externally
- Directly managing customer accounts, fostering strong relationships, strategically planning business to grow/drive sales and ensuring profit goals are met
- Deliver sales targets within investment guidelines and alignment with global & regional brand strategy by strategising & recommending promotional plans
- Collaborate with cross functional teams such as the broader Customer Development Team, Marketing, Digital and Supply Chain functions to build business opportunities and ensure planning accuracy.
- Collaborate with Global colleagues to continue to learn & develop

**Principle Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Own all elements of the Customer P&L, manage 5Ps, forecasting and planning from beginning to end internally & externally (ATLAS)
- Directly managing customer accounts, fostering strong relationships, strategically planning business to grow/drive sales and ensuring profit goals are met
- Deliver sales targets within investment guidelines and alignment with global & regional brand strategy by strategising & recommending promotional plans
- Collaborate with cross functional teams such as the broader Customer Development Team, Marketing, Digital and Supply Chain functions to build business opportunities and ensure planning accuracy.
- Track and report market share & category performance for your customers (where data allows)

**Education/ Experience Requirements**:

- Bachelor Degree
- 3-5 years experience in Customer Management roles with experience managing customers and/or shopper marketing/marketing experience preferred
- Deliver NPD Speed to Market targets in each retail environment, planning and monitoring progress nationally, by account and by territory
- Monitoring and taking remedial action for base distribution levels appropriate to store grade defined by Customer Development.

**Expected Area of Skills**:

- Sales experience in an FMCG or nutrition company ideal
