**About the roles**
The Service Desk Engineer will be working closely with the Service Desk Team and will be integral in driving success through quality of Teamwork, Customer service and Service delivery.

The SDE will work to resolve IT support requests, invoke vendor cases and escalate advanced cases within the Service Delivery teams, maintaining service records throughout the end user support process. The SDE will perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques whilst maintaining excellent communication with the end user.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide first and second level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Document all support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Manage user accounts and access permissions in accordance with security policies.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively and empathetically with users.

**What are we looking for?**
- Local IT experience in multi-server, multi-site, multi-domain environments
- Windows server and workstation administration skills
- Jira and Service Now ticketing experience
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting and upgrades
- Office 365 administration and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Backup technologies (on premise and cloud)
- Experience with Virtualisation Technologies (VMware and/or Hyper V)
- Basic Networking skills - routing / switching / wireless
- Experience with Infrastructure monitoring and alert management
- Excellent client service skills and communication skills
- Flexibility to work in office and at client premises is essential
