**About Us**

Lab-works Architecture are award winning leaders in the design of scientific, research, teaching, healthcare and analytical facilities. Established in 2001 we are New Zealand’s first and largest science-focused design practice, and the progeny of the foundational Pynenburg and Collins Architectural practice that continues to operate alongside, in partnership as the parent-brand.

We have built a dedicated team of 27 registered architects, architectural technicians, graduates, interior designers and support staff across both brands, with studios in Christchurch and Wellington.

**The Opportunity**

This newly created role will operate across both brands, offering an exciting opportunity for someone with well-developed senior influencing skills who wants to contribute to the continued success of our thriving practice. With responsibility for maintaining, developing and continually looking to improve the integrity of our business you will be guiding our management team and principals through positive change and lead the execution of it.

We’re after someone with:

- Strong EQ and superior influencing skills to proactively communicate, guide, coach, and collaborate to deliver desired outcomes to help shape our business.
- Natural ability fostering positive relationships with a range of working styles.
- Proven experience finding efficiencies, adapting and ing business processes that become positively embedded.
- Expertise planning and implementing changes, working in partnership with others to get it done.
- The flexibility to navigate ambiguity and a creative approach to solving problems.

Ideally you will have a solid operations background in another creative or principal-operated business, including knowledge across people and culture, finance and business planning portfolios.
