**Tēnei tūranga - About the Role**:
An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Business Advisor. Reporting to the Manager, Business Operations Support, Market Integrity branch within the Te Whakatairanga Service Delivery group.

The Market Integrity branch delivers cross cutting regulatory infrastructure underpinning optimal operation of markets. It responds to reserve rights, realise potential, restrict to manage risks and resolve matters for market participants. In this role you will undertake:

- Planning, performance and reporting, risk management, business continuity planning, continuous improvement and assurance processes
- Provide analytical support for the branch leadership team
- Deliver quality advice and support to teams within the branch to contribute to the continuous improvement of services, systems and processes
- Maintain the Market Integrity branch Teams site
- Provide advice and support to ensure branch projects are managed in accordance with the project plan and to the agreed timeframes and budgets.

**Skills and Experience Required**
- Excellent political awareness and sensitivity to anticipate areas of potential risk and inform decision-making
- A strong understanding of the machinery of government processes that underpin the operations of the public sector environment, accountability, and the performance, reporting and financial management regime
- Ability to quickly assimilate new information or areas of work and come to an understanding of unfamiliar and complex issues
- Proven ability to think strategically, develop frameworks, manage organisation wide systems and processes and provide analytical and strategic support for the branch leadership team
- Demonstrated ability to identify ways of thinking about risks and issues and developing possible pathways forward
- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand
