The Opportunity


We have a great opportunity for an Area Manager, based in either Auckland or Christchurch, to provide leadership and innovation to our Horticulture, Food & Dairy Services.


This role provides operational leadership and guidance to our customers across a wide range of industries including food, dairy, horticulture and apiary through evaluation, audit, inspection and certification services.


Leading a dedicated team of Auditors and Inspectors, your proven success in a people management role, coupled with your innovation, drive and energy, will provide the springboard to achievement as you offer support, training and development to them, whilst ensuring results and customer satisfaction.


Your commercial acumen will be utilised as you drive programmes of work towards success, working with technical experts in their fields to guarantee projects are completed in to the highest of standards and in a timely manner.


About you
To be successful in the role you will have

  • Previous success in a people management role
  • Financial acumen and an understanding of profit and loss
  • An innovative, solutions focussed approach to problems
  • The ability to use, and learn new, IT systems
  • Initiative and attention to detail
  • Pride in what you do, the quality of your work and a true team ethos
  • Experience in horticulture, dairy or food is highly regarded but not essential
