We want to hear from you if you have:

  • demonstrated project/ research/ contract management experience
- experience in freshwater ecology, biosecurity, eco-hydrology, wetlands, and/ or management of freshwater species and habitats and knowledge of relevant legislation
- previous experience working with, mentoring, and training peer groups with a freshwater ecology speciality
- knowledge of the Resource Management Act, Freshwater Fisheries Regulations and Conservation Act
- strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, including a track record of influencing, negotiating and collaborating with a broad stakeholder group
