We are seeking an experienced Applications Specialist to join our Information and Communication Technology [ICT] team.

This position is a fixed term position to cover parental leave for 14.5 months.


Your expertise in the IT industry, with proven coding ability, will be critical in contributing to the delivery of services across the ISG team.

With project experience in agile or Kanban methodologies, you will be comfortable working in a large organization and/or in a pressured and ever-changing environment.

Your knowledge of hybrid cloud solutions will be an added advantage.

Pehea | About You

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team across ISG to contribute to the delivery of services
  • Implementing service improvement plans where required
  • Developing and maintaining administration procedures, knowledge articles, and documentation
  • Working with senior team members who will provide coaching, instruction, and direction
  • Reviewing the quality of service and assist the Team Leader with metrics reports
  • Provide services which are focused on anticipating and exceeding customer expectations and experience

  • 3 years' experience in the IT industry with proven coding ability
  • Project experience with agile or Kanban methodologies
  • Experience working in a large organization and/or in a pressured and everchanging environment
  • Knowledge of hybrid cloud solutions
  • Relevant Level 7 Diploma with appropriate programming modules
  • Relevant Microsoft Certification
