What you will be doing


Our Business Information Services (BIS) team consists of a broad range of technology professionals, who deliver an extensive range of technology services to our large customer base.

We have an opportunity for an Application Support Specialist within our Business Information Services team.

This role is primarily focused on supporting, training and implementation administration activities for ERMS our Electronic Request Management System which is developed at Pegasus.

This position is 40 hours per week, with some additional and out of hours work will be required.

What you will bring
The Application Support Specialist role will require relevant IT knowledge and proven customer focused technical support skills.

Responsibilities of the role will include implementation tasks, data entry, training and upskilling users, project co-ordination and client relations including translating client requests into technologically sound solutions.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant IT knowledge, including Microsoft Office 365 or similar and a data entry system
  • Ability to selflearn and accumulate knowledge;
  • Ability to create 'Howto' documentation and processes for users and technicians;
  • Confidence and ability to train endusers to use the ERMS software;
  • Ability to assist with User Acceptance Testing;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Have a clear, concise and patient telephone manner;
  • Knowledge of Practice Management Software or clinical systems would be advantageous, however, training in this system will be provided.
