Specialist Clinician - Adolescent Services
Invercargill Based
Permanent - Part time, 24-32 hours per week.

The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Specialist Clinician to work alongside our existing experienced Clinical team in our Invercargill office.
You will provide therapeutic services and support to our adolescent clients, there is a longer term view to upskill the right person into supporting with the children's services, training, support and guidance would be provided.
The role involves:
- Therapeutic assessment and intervention with Children and Adolescents who have been referred for concerning or harmful sexual behaviour
- Supporting schools in managing safety
- Working with other community agencies involved to enhance outcomes
- Being an ambassador for Stop and promoting our services within the community
- Have proven therapeutic experience and skills in clinical work with tamariki and rangatahi
- Experience of working with whanau in stressful situations
- Qualification in psychology, counseling, social work, family therapy or equivalent
- Some experience or understanding of working with issues related to trauma and attachment is preferable
- Excellent communication, relationship and organisational skills with the ability to work independently
- A valid drivers license is essential as some travel within the South Island is required
