Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

The Endocrinolgy Service part of the Adult Community and Long-Term Conditions Directorate at Te Toka Tumai is seeking a SMO to join our team.

You will be responsible for providing specialised outpatient and inpatient endocrinologist consultations as well as supervision of registrar and student trainees as part of a rostered team.

The focus of this post is to manage the Bone Density service including reporting of Bone Densitometry and leading the Fracture Liaison service which sits within Endocrinology.

The role includes bone and general endocrinology clinics.

You will be responsible for provide clinic services to patients with a broad range of Endocrinology conditions while continuing training under the oversight of the Endocrinology Consultants and completing MD or PHD studies.
