The Opportunity:


This permanent position role reporting directly to our Group Services Delivery Manager in the Group IT space, is a great opportunity to support our Joint Venture projects integrate their IT requirements within our wider Fulton Hogan IT framework.

The role will get to work closely with our Group IT security and implementation teams.


The purpose of this role would be to be able to be on the ground with our JV's where needed to ensure our internal and external customers not just understand, but are part of the decision making processes and are happy with the IT services they are using and being provided with.

This role would ideally be based in our Group IT office in Christchurch, however main centres will be considered.

There would be some travel to this role when required, and could be some trans-tasman travel to Australia should our environment allow for it.


In the role you will:


Work with and understand the Joint ventures side of our business and align their IT needs to deliver their strategic business objectives to be fit for purpose but also integrated into our wider IT framework and deliverables.

Having the ability to think outside of the box for outcomes, alongside being able to provide simple and clear communications, which will allow you to foster a great working relationship with stakeholders in the diverse area of the business you will service.


You will manage the IT requirements and projects for our JV's across our business, and we believe having a sound background in the technical IT support role will support your ability to deliver great results.


Our perfect person will:

  • Have 5 years proven experience in project managing small and big scale IT projects
  • Have a ITL certification
  • Have the ability to think outside the box when require, and be innovative
  • Have excellent problem solving & decisionmaking skills
  • Be a logical and clear thinker
  • Be awesome at building relationships and collaborating with others where needed
  • Be articulate and have strong communication skills
  • Have 5 years experience in a technical IT support background
