To be successful as an
Information Management Officer, you will have:

  • Good knowledge and understanding of Information management principles
  • Working knowledge of the Public Records Act 200
  • Confidence working with technology platforms and be able to facilitate continuous improvement
  • The ability to bring a positive attitude with a willingness to deliver results for team success
  • Outstanding communication skills with experience in training others
  • Experience with administering electronic document and records management systems (EDRMS)


Ideally, you will have at least three years' experience in records and Information Management working within local or central government.
