Sitting within our Governance and Advisory Services Directorate, our People and Capability function is here to support the organisation by collaboratively designing culture, tools, systems, processes, strategies and people advice that is unique to our organisation and aligned to our organisational vision, purpose and strategy.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting time for the organisation

You will:

  • Use your knowledge and experience to provide clear, wellreasoned and articulate people related analysis and insights
  • Work with our shared services payroll partner to ensure data sources are accurate and up to date
  • Provide and maintain people reporting and analytics that helps deliver information to people leaders and stakeholders that is easily understood and supports decision making
  • Manage system development, maintenance and data integrity including with HRIS and people system configuration and testing where required
  • Work across the People and Capability team to implement, provide and maintain remuneration information and processes.
Moū | About you

To be successful you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary or post graduate qualification and/or significant relevant work experience with a specific focus on people data analytics, systems and reporting
  • Knowledge of a range of quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Advanced Microsoft excel skills and knowledge of business intelligence tools
  • Experience using Power BI to produce regular dashboard reporting would be an advantage
  • Experience working with HRIS and payroll data
  • Exposure to remuneration practices, including job evaluation methodologies
  • A basic understanding (strong understanding highly desirable) of tikanga Māori and Te Ao Māori and the rights and duties outlined in Te Tiriti o Waitangi
