About Us

Fiordland Discovery operates luxury overnight & day cruises in Milford Sound and multi-night expeditions through the remote and spectacular Fiordland National Park and Stewart Island. We're a proud family-owned New Zealand company delivering world-class guest experiences that combine adventure, comfort, and connection with nature. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated and organised Reservations, Sales & Marketing Assistant to join our team.

What You'll Do

·       Handle reservations and enquiries via phone, email, and online channels

·       Deliver exceptional customer service and accurate product information to guests and travel partners.

·       Maintain and update booking and CRM systems.

·       Support marketing campaigns — including social media scheduling, email newsletters, website content, and partnerships.

·       Work collaboratively across operations, sales, and marketing to ensure smooth guest experiences from start to finish.

What You'll Bring

·       Experience in tourism, hospitality, or a reservations role

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills — written and verbal.

·       Great organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

·       Confidence using digital tools and booking systems (knowledge of Fareharbor or similar a plus).

·       A positive attitude, adaptability, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

·       A genuine passion for New Zealand travel and the Fiordland region.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours over a 7-day roster, which will include some weekends and public holidays.
