If so, you might be the perfect candidate for the Finance Administrator position at Community Financial Services.

As a Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for managing key financial operations of the company.  These include accounts payable, reconciling accounts and maintaining fixed asset registers. You will also work closely with the Finance Manager and other departments to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least two years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
  • Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • To not fear the telephone, we know it's old hat, but we like people
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • The ability to manage large volumes of work and meet deadlines by being flexible and adaptable.
  • A proactive and forward-thinking approach to work.
  • The desire to constantly improve yourself, processes and others around you.
  • A genuine desire to provide the best customer experience, every time.
  • Having fun doing all of above and yes listen to (or tolerate) work appropriate Dad jokes

What you'll be doing

With a customer focus, the Finance Administrator will support the Finance team and the wider business through the delivery of accurate and timely financial accounting processes, reporting and administration.

This requires you to:

  • Lead our Insurance process.

  • Assist customers and external parties with the complete vehicle insurance claim process.

  • Lodge relevant insurance claims with insurers and submit cancellations with insurers.

  • Assist with the complete vehicle insurance renewal process.

  • Reconcile and pay vehicle insurance premiums and produce settlement calculations.

  • Provide complete support to our Finance team.

  • Complete bank reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable process, bank allocations etc.

  • Assist with month end processes and reporting

  • Ensuring the office Spotify lifts the mood
