The Role

This is a growth-driven sales role for someone who thrives on building business from the ground up. You'll be the face of a leading Managed Services provider in the South Island, driving new client acquisition across Managed IT, Cybersecurity, AV, Document Automation, and Microsoft solutions.

You'll take ownership of your territory, developing entry strategies for new accounts, and positioning tailored technology solutions that genuinely improve client performance. Success in this role comes from proactive prospecting, strong relationship management, and closing high-value opportunities.

You'll work closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure every solution you sell is delivered to a high standard, giving you the credibility and trust to grow lasting partnerships.

What You'll Do:

  • Hunt and secure new business across Canterbury
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Lead client meetings, proposals, and presentations with confidence
  • Close deals that deliver long-term recurring revenue
  • Work with internal teams to scope and deliver projects effectively
  • Manage all sales activity through CRM and maintain accurate forecasting

  • Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within IT or technology
  • A strong hunter mindset with solid negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to signed agreement
