We provide specialist finance solutions for investment, business, bridging and property development projects. With a dynamic, get-it-done attitude, we look for ways to make deals work for all involved.

We're seeking an autonomous, relationship-focused Business Development Manager in Christchurch to expand our origination footprint across Canterbury.

The Role

You'll represent Fico Finance in your region – identifying, engaging and converting new lending opportunities through your network of brokers, advisors, developers and professional referrers. You'll be backed by an agile, growth-focused team with experienced credit support and streamlined settlement processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Originate and manage new lending transactions
  • Build and service a strong advisor, broker and third-party network
  • Run deals end-to-end – from origination through execution to post-settlement
  • Build and maintain referral relationships and industry visibility
  • Represent Fico at local property and finance events

  • Proven success in business development, lending, or property finance
  • Commercially minded deal-maker with a strong Canterbury network
  • Professional, self-motivated, and client-focused communicator
  • Familiarity with non-bank property lending or mortgage broking a plus
