THE ROLE:
As our Business Development Manager for the Auckland Region, you'll be the driving force behind new client acquisition and revenue growth. You'll build a strong pipeline, open doors to new opportunities, and secure long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies
- Proactively identify and pursue new market opportunities, build strong client relationships, and convert leads into successful deals.
- Leverage market insights to shape sales strategies and uncover untapped opportunities
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including industry leaders and distributors
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs
- Prepare and present compelling proposals and solutions to prospective clients
- Lead contract negotiations to ensure successful, mutually beneficial outcomes
- Champion our values and represent the business with professionalism and integrity
Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record in business development or sales, ideally within the security, technology or a related industry
- Familiarity with security technology solutions, such as access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and integrated security systems is a plus—but strong candidates with general technology or solution-selling experience are encouraged to apply
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, meet or exceed sales targets, and close complex deals
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a knack for building long-term client relationships
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and results-focused, with the flexibility to travel as required
