We now seek a highly skilled Hard Materials Technician to work alongside our Technology team. The role is busy and exciting and will you the opportunity to exercise your skills in this space.

Key duties include:

·       General care of wood and metalworking tools and equipment

·       Basic welding

·       Sourcing and ordering workshop materials

·       Creating projects and preparing materials

·       Maintenance of workshop

·       Working with staff

·       Supporting individual students in the workshop environment

We had need someone who has an interest in wood working and metal work and initiative to work independently. Someone who can relate to students and work collaboratively in a team environment. Driver's licence is essential. This role would suit someone who has a teaching qualification or background. However, this is not essential.

Hours of work

·       Permanent part time, Hours per week, term time only – commencing January 2026.
