Forecast and plan Toyota NZ's vehicle supply to meet market demand and keep inventory moving.

We're looking for someone with analytical skills to support Toyota New Zealand's vehicle planning as a Forecast Analyst – Supply & Demand.

The purpose of this role is to support the New Vehicles Planning department with current and future inventory planning through detailed analysis of internal and external data to support the development of inventory strategy.

This opportunity is permanent/full-time based on-site Monday – Friday at our Head Office in Palmerston North.

What's involved in the role:

  • Analysis of market conditions, competitor activity, new vehicle demand and sales to create vehicle forecasts.
  • Responsible for the management of new vehicle supply, ensuring stock levels are relative to demand.
  • Ordering vehicles and aligning production with required demand.
  • Communication of strategy, recommendations, and forecasts with a variety of stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:

  • Intermediate or advanced Microsoft excel skills
  • Analytical skills – you will be able to interpret data to make quick decisions
  • The ability to build strong relationships and communicate with internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels on a regular basis
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally
  • Previous experience in either a planning position, financial or data analytical role or inventory management is beneficial but not essential
