We have an opportunity available to join our Albany, Auckland based Support Centre as a **Supply Planner.**This is a 40-hour role working Monday to Friday.
Join our dynamic Merchandise team and take the lead on a diverse portfolio of imported products. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth, cost-effective importation and distribution, driving efficiency through smart systems, seamless processes, and industry best practices.
**Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager, your key functions will include**:
- **Order Management**: Process new product and repeat non-continuity stock orders based on authorised forms. Integrate new continuity products into monthly forecasts and allocate non-continuity products before arrival.
- ** Inventory Control**: Use forecasted sales data to reorder SKUs monthly, maintain stock levels within specified bands, and avoid out-of-stock situations while adhering to inventory budgets.
- ** Indent Orders**: Correlate store orders to determine product quantities, ensuring sufficient stock for indent orders and store requirements. Communicate with stores about order variances, container ETAs, and assist with unloading and invoicing.
- ** Shipping & Logistics**: Determine optimal shipping methods and dates, raise and place purchase orders, check supplier confirmations, and ensure accurate tracking of purchase orders. Monitor progress and address any variances.
- ** Importation & Receipting**: Track bookings, obtain necessary shipping documents, ensure accurate system statuses, and correlate invoices for shipment costing. Liaise with unpacking depots and prioritize deliveries.
- ** Issue Resolution**: Investigate landed price differences, follow up on damages or short supplies, and process store orders within specified timelines.
**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Minimum 3 years of proven success in a similar role
- Confident and capable SAP user - this one’s essential
- Skilled in quoting and costing products with accuracy and insight
- Hands-on experience with overseas purchasing, global shipping, and import logistics
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to precision
