O'Neil+ Architecture is an award-winning architectural practise specialising in high quality residential design.  From our Christchurch based studio we work with clients throughout New Zealand, designing holiday homes in popular coastal regions, to family homes in central cities.  Our goal is to make the design journey as stress free and enjoyable as possible for our clients – and that is where you come in.

About the role

We are seeking a Studio Coordinator who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed to providing an exceptional service to our clients.  Alongside the team you will be responsible for the smooth running of our projects from start to finish.  You will ensure that the studio is well presented and manage the day to day operational and administrative duties.

Organisation, prioritisation and communication are the main components of this role.  You will work closely with the senior management team, forging strong relationships with key consultants.  As well as having a significant influence on our studio culture, taking a lead on staff and client care.

What you'll do

· Manage and communicate project deliverables

· Liaise and engage professional consultants on behalf of the client, as well as lodge and manage consent applications

· Proactively respond to all correspondence

· Coordinate schedules, appointments and meetings

· General office duties such as accurate and thorough filing, preparing invoices and maintaining stock levels

· Front of house – provide a warm welcome to our clients on arrival

What you'll bring

· An inclusive, collaborative approach that aligns with our values and contributes to making O'Neil+ Architecture a great place work

· Strong organisational skills to effectively manage time, prioritise and manage multiple tasks while consistently meeting deadlines

· Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and attention to detail

· Expert communication skills

· Adaptability with a growth mind-set

· Resilience and a sense of humour will come in handy also

What you can look forward to

At O'Neil+ Architecture we are proud of our culture and working environment, we are committed to fostering a sense of community, and a space that's inspiring to work.  Every one of us has an important role to play in achieving success for our studio and we are all prepared to do what it takes to help each other succeed.

Full training, support and flexible hours will be provided to the perfect candidate.

You will be rewarded with a competitive salary and the opportunity to work alongside some highly experienced professionals in the industry as well as developing and nurturing your own skills and expertise.

If this sounds like you, please email your CV and cover letter to Jacinda at

Please note we are only considering candidates that are based in Christchurch with the eligibility to work permanently in New Zealand and can interview in person.

Applications close Wednesday 14th January 2025, 5.00pm.
