We are seeking a Territory Manager – Construction Equipment to join our Hastings and Gisborne Sales Team. As a Territory Manager, you will bring enthusiasm and a daily desire to learn to a team dedicated to world-class customer service and innovative solutions. You are passionate and committed to our present and future success in the ever-evolving world of work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent the company in the sale of equipment within a defined geographic area.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the features and benefits of all equipment sold by the dealership.
- Implement and maintain regular customer call cycles within your area of responsibility.
- Monitor competitive products and activity, and report findings to management promptly.
- Maintain accurate customer records within your assigned territory.
- Understand and adhere to a clearly defined sales process.
- Achieve sales objectives set by Brandt as part of the sales planning process, including market share targets.
- Maintain assigned company vehicles and equipment.
- Assist with the planning and execution of customer events.
- Conduct field demonstrations of new equipment.
- Monitor customer business trends and report significant developments to management.
- Stay informed about available financing options to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Attend relevant sales training events and seminars.
- Provide timely and accurate sales reports as required by management.
- Maintain knowledge of used equipment values and accurately evaluate trade-ins.
What Are We Looking For?
- Sales experience and a strong understanding of heavy equipment are advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organisational abilities.
- Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport for international travel.
