About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on team member to support new product development and technical processes in our Blenheim site. This role sits at the intersection of food science, production and documentation — blending, testing, recording and supporting the transition from lab to factory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and blend ingredients for trials, record results, and help refine recipes
  • Maintain a clean, well-organised lab and manage ingredient supplies
  • Apply FSANZ food safety practices in all lab and trial work
  • Support factory trials, shelf-life testing, tastings and product evaluations
  • Maintain accurate data, update Product Information Forms (PIFs) and assist with labelling and artwork documentation
  • Provide general admin support across product development and technical functions

About You

  • A genuine love of food — tasting and talking about flavour is part of who you are
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Enjoys learning about ingredients, processes and production
  • Comfortable in both lab and factory settings
  • Collaborative and easy to work with
  • Experience in food manufacturing is an advantage
  • A Food Tech or Food Science qualification is helpful but not essential

Normal hours of work: Forty hours a week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:30am and 6.00pm. pay day is every Wednesday.
