Vetlife is a large veterinary practice with 29 clinics throughout the South Island. Vetlife on Alabama offers a full range of veterinary services to the surrounding community for both production and companion animals. We currently have an opportunity for a Production Animal administrator to join our Vetlife on Alabama clinic team.

The successful applicant will have a background in production animals with excellent customer service skills, the ability to build relationships and will be an integral part of the team. You will be working closely with the clinical staff to help ensure the smooth day to day running of the clinic.

This is a full time position with rostered Saturdays.

About the role:

This is a new role and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to work closely with the production animal team to develop relationships with our production animal and equine clients, providing support for the clients and clinic team.

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients
  • On farm deliveries/visits
  • Provide retail and administration support to production animal and equine clients
  • Reception duties, including data entry and processing payments
  • Maintain product displays and have a sound knowledge of the products

  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with our valued client base as well as colleagues
  • Confident with IT systems
  • An eagerness to learn and an ability to prioritise and adapt quickly to change
