Right now, we're looking for a Production Supervisor to lead our day-shift team at our Dunedin production facility. This is a permanent, full-time role (Monday to Friday, 7:30 / 8:00am starts), guiding a motivated crew across multiple product lines in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.


About the Role

As Production Supervisor, you'll be on the floor — leading by example, coordinating workflow, and keeping standards high. You'll oversee daily operations across sauces, pestos, cured meats and gourmet proteins, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and food-safety excellence.

You'll work closely with our Production and Dispatch teams to keep things running smoothly — coaching your crew, driving continuous improvement, and making sure every batch that leaves our facility meets Origin quality.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support your production team through daily manufacturing schedules.
  • Maintain workflow across multiple product lines while meeting production targets.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP and Food Control Plan standards.
  • Drive a safe, clean and efficient workplace with zero compromise on quality.
  • Collaborate with QA, Maintenance and Logistics for smooth coordination.
  • Champion training, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

  • Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Shift Leader, or similar in food manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of food-safety, compliance and quality systems.
