Mō te tūnga | About the role

The team works on wide range of initiatives related to core and common capability development, succession, and talent management; leadership development; performance; team building; our culture and values; engagement; diversity and inclusion; employee induction; rewards & recognition; and people policy and guidance.

The purpose of this role is to contribute to delivering on our people strategy by supporting the design, development and delivery of initiatives that help build organisation-wide capability for today and tomorrow to help us deliver on the Oranga Tamariki Way. You will also work alongside an exceptional, supportive & knowledgeable team with opportunities for regular coaching.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring

**Key requirements of the role include but not limited to**:

- An understanding of and experience in Learning & Development (L&D)principles and models
- Experience in developing and implementing L&D courses and programmes
- Experience in multi-modal learning design and delivery to meet a wide range of learning styles and making the best use of technology for effective learning delivery
- Excellent face-to-face and online facilitation skills
- Proven ability to deliver quality advice, guidance and material on time
- A qualification in Learning and Development or related discipline is essential
- Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture
