We operate in end-to-end supply chain management, focused on the Retail and FMCG industries. Together with our long-term blue-chip customers, we are committed to health and safety, employee wellbeing, customer service excellence and technology innovation.With sites around New Zealand, we are experiencing another growth phase and currently on the hunt for more Imports & Exports Specialist to join the team.

**Based in Auckland, we have vacancies available at the below sites**:

- Westney Road, Mangere
- Nesdale Avenue, Wiri
- Smales Road, East Tamaki
- Tidal Road, Mangere

Guaranteed 40 hours of work per week with 30 minutes paid lunch break.

All shifts are available. These are our available shifts:

- 06:00am-14:30pm, Monday to Friday
- 10:00am-18:30pm, Monday to Friday
- 06:00am-14:30pm, Tuesday to Saturday
- 08:00am-16:30pm, Tuesday to Saturday

To oversee the day-to-day management of Cardinals inwards, export, and general operational requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure accuracy of product, quantity, and dates of the stock arriving in containers.
- Devanned containers are QC checked for product, correct stacking, damages, batches, and dates.
- Have the stock receipted into WMS and the pallets labelled ready for put-away on the same day of Devan
- Thorough check of stock received from the customers sites meet quality standards
- Damaged stock from Import Containers are consolidated onto pallets and area is kept clean and tidy.
- Provide daily reports to management and/or clients
- Have all stock receipted accurately, which includes but not limited to correct product codes, quantity, BBD and lot numbers
- Along with Imports Specialist (Devanning), oversee the unloading/loading of the containers
- Urgent requests from customers
- Allocate the containers to the Devanning/ or loading staff
- Manage workload of LCL from offsite and inbound
- Damage control and reporting
- Other operational roles when required
- Answer Customer Queries in a timely manner
- Update the spreadsheets accurately daily as the process requires.
- Lead and behave in a manner that supports Cardinals Health & Safety practice and policies
- Ensure existing and potential customers abide by relevant H&S policies and procedures at any Cardinal site

**Relevant Skills & Training**:

- ** Qualifications**:A diploma or recognised qualification in logistics management would be desirable or equivalent experience

**Technical Skills and Experience**:

- 1 year experience minimum of Logistics/supply chain experience desirable
- Computer skills including Intermediate MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access and MS PowerPoint
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Great attitude
- MHE experience Forklift, desirable
