**Looking for Inventory Specialists**

We operate in end-to-end supply chain management, focused on the Retail and FMCG industries. **Based in Auckland, we have vacancies available at the below sites**:

- Westney Road, Mangere
- Nesdale Avenue, Wiri

**Guaranteed 40 hours per week.**

To support the Inventory Manager in the day to day inventory functions including:

- have key responsibility for the direct inventory control for customers within the multi user site
- Inventory daily / weekly checks
- Lost / rogue stock investigation and root causing
- Work in partnership with the customer on Product traceability reporting for Mock & Real recalls
- Ensure counts and reconciliation of customer stock holdings are completed in a timely manner
- Returns management
- Customer service

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Hands on warehousing responsibilities
- Assist inventory manager in KPI data collection
- Control Stock Shelf Life (expiry/quarantine)
- Ensure that 100% accurate stock holding is maintained
- Ensure that all cycle counts are carried out
- Control all damages, including all restacking
- Correct any tipped pallets
- Maintain 98.5% or better pick face accuracy
- Control any special inventory requests
- Help solve staff operational issues
- Be able to deal with customer queries relevant to inventory issues
- Stock reconciliation
- Support the inventory manager in the management of full wall 2 wall stock this includes the management of the process and the personnel and also the reporting and reconciliation of the findings.
- Maintain the efficient flow and management of all inventory throughout the Site from day to day inventory management through to returns management
- Daily cycle count outputs, corrections and remedies
- Other reporting as requested
- Deal with customers on a day to day basis as required regarding inventory matters
- Address any customer queries as soon as possible
- The ability to identify the information needed to clarify a situation, seek that information from appropriate sources, and use skilful questioning to draw out the information, when others are reluctant to disclose it
- Identifying what needs to be done and doing it before being asked or before the situation requires it.
- Provide accurate and timely information in line with customer commitments (both contracted and on demand)
- Compliance and leadership so that all Company H&S procedures are followed and incidents are reported
- Reporting any unsafe equipment or environment
- Reporting any accident/Incident and near misses

**Relevant Skills & Training**:

- ** Qualifications**:University or Approved industry training institute qualification is mandatory
- Forklift Licence - Stockpicker
- Detailed Inventory movement and control knowledge
- Computer skills including Advanced MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access and MS PowerPoint
- SAP experience preferred by not essential
- Very strong attention to detail
- Comprehensive understanding of warehousing and logistics
- Extensive Warehousing/Logistics/Distribution background
- Food safety awareness

**Technical Skills and Experience**:

- 1 year experience minimum of Inventory Specialist experience
