**Are You Our IT Support Specialist'**

We operate in 3PL supply chain management, focused on FMCG Food, Beverages, Groceries and Retail. Cardinal is the major distributor of products to supermarkets around New Zealand. Together with our long-term blue chip customers, we are committed to health and safety, employee wellbeing, customer service excellence, technology innovation and deep business analytics. With sites around New Zealand, we are experiencing another growth phase and the role of IT Support Specialist is required to support this.

This is an important position that will support our Technology and Operations Leadership Team in our commitment to be the best 3PL business in NZ.

**Hours of Work**:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours ($31.25 per hour)

**What You Will Do**:

- Own and manage the IT Support ticketing system by triaging and supporting end users with their technology challenges.
- Manage and implement the delivery of Technology projects
- Control costs in line with budget expectations
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and milestones reached
- Ensure correct documentation is maintained
- Ensure resourcing is managed appropriately
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communication
- Utilise best practice techniques and standards

**You Will Have**:

- More than 2 years experience as an IT Support Specialist on a variety of IT and non-IT projects
- Strong IT skills across a range of technologies, and a strong ability to learn.
- Great work ethic and self-motivation to succeed.
- Experience working across multiple projects.
- Experience working in a Logistics (or similar) environment will be advantageous.
- A drive for high quality successful delivery along with continuous process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and being able to project plan and lead.
- Ability to provide support and training to other staff members.
- Change management to ensure stability of critical systems during upgrades.

**Desired Knowledge**:

- Strong desktop support ability.
- Active Directory.
- Exchange Server.
- Networking.
- Office 365 administration.
- Computer hardware including printers, laptops, desktops.
- IT Support ticket experience in a busy environment.
