**Salary Range: $96,307 - $113,303 + superannuation**

**The role | Te tunga**
This is a permanent role based in Wellington, reporting to the Senior Manager, Executive and Government Relations. You'll be part of a high-performing team that supports and advises the Chief Executive, manages the relationship with the Office of the Minister of Statistics, and leads on machinery of government matters.
In this role, you'll lead the coordination and delivery of Official Information Act requests, parliamentary questions, select committee responses, and other ministerial and parliamentary processes. You'll also act as the key liaison for a business group, working closely with senior leaders to ensure the Chief Executive and Minister receive timely, high-quality advice.
This is a dynamic role that sits at the centre of government engagement. It offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced and evolving environment. You'll bring a proactive mindset and a focus on delivering high-quality work that supports transparency, accountability, and informed decision-making.
This role would suit someone who can demonstrate:
- Proven experience managing Official Information Act requests, correspondence, parliamentary questions, select committee responses, and related processes.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, with confidence engaging across the organisation, with other government agencies, and external stakeholders.
- A clear understanding of what high-quality advice looks like, and the ability to present complex issues in a clear, concise, and accessible way.
- A willingness to grow your cultural capability and contribute to an inclusive, respectful workplace.
