We steward the family violence and sexual violence system and drive realisation of the cross-agency strategy—Te Aorerekura. We work in partnership with communities across Aotearoa New Zealand, placing survivors, families, and whānau at the heart of everything we do.

**Te Haeata/The Opportunity**

Te Puna Aonui is seeking a passionate and experienced Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting the Chief Executive by providing high-level strategic, organisational, and operational advice, as well as managing key projects and processes. You will lead a small team, ensuring the effective flow and delivery of advice to and from Ministers, the Interdepartmental Executive Board (IEB), the Chief Executive, and the Executive Leadership Team.

In this role, you will also handle troubleshooting, strategic quality assurance, governance, and risk management support. Additionally, you will oversee the day-to-day servicing of the Board, Ministerial Servicing function, and Private Secretary role. Your work will be essential in facilitating effective solutions to issues, promoting continuous improvement, and ensuring exemplary services to the incumbent Minister.

- **Ability to think at a highly strategic level and manage through conflict.**:

- **Ability to generate confidence when dealing with the CE, Ministers, Offices, officials, senior managers, staff and clients.**:

- **Able to read, understand and interpret complex documents, including financial, numerical and business information.**:

- **Extensive experience in the public sector demonstrating adaptability, flexibility and positive change orientation.**:

- **Knowledge of machinery of government and public sector processes and systems**
