As Executive Assistant to the Chief and Deputy Chief Coroner, you will operate at the heart of the Office of the Chief Coroner. You will provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Chief and Deputy Chief Coroner and contribute to the effective day-to-day operation of the Coroners Court.
You will manage confidential correspondence, coordinate diaries, arrange travel and accommodation, and prepare materials for senior-level meetings. Your attention to detail, initiative, and ability to manage multiple priorities will be essential as you support judicial-related activities and maintain robust information management systems.

**Ō** pūkenga/Skills and Experience**
- Strong interpersonal skills to support the Chief Coroner and work confidently with the public, government agencies, and New Zealand Police.
- Great attention to detail and observation skills, ensuring accuracy across varied processes and case information.
- An ability to manage conflicting priorities and move efficiently between tasks.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Resilience and discretion, being able to handle sensitive and sometimes graphic information.
- Proven experience supporting senior managers or executives, with advanced administrative and secretarial skills.
- Culturally competence, with an understanding of tikanga practices and a commitment to diversity.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive workplace.
