**Korero mo te turanga - About the role**

This is a unique chance to make a real impact by reducing workplace injuries and improving recovery outcomes for our people. You'll be at the forefront of designing and implementing injury prevention strategies, adapting physical work tasks, and facilitating early access to medical treatment and return-to-work programs.

Based in Highbrook, this role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work across multiple operational sites. You'll collaborate closely with site leaders, medical providers, and our frontline teams to drive safer practices and support our people's wellbeing whilst being part of our centralised Safety & Wellbeing team.

What you'll be doing:

- Observing and adapting manual handling tasks to reduce injury risk
- Facilitating access to dedicated medical treatment providers
- Designing and implementing return-to-work programs with light/restricted duties
- Coaching leaders on injury prevention and positive people practices
- Supporting continuous improvement in work design and safety culture

- Expertise in injury causation, case management, and medical provider engagement
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, self-sufficient approach with a passion for making a difference
