**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**
This is an Auckland based role with hybrid working - three days in the office (one being a Tuesday) and two days with the option of working remotely.
We spoke with our General Manager - Health, Safety & Wellbeing, who let us know the following about the role:

We live and breathe our values at BNZ and take the wellbeing of our people seriously. We are a supportive Health, Safety & Wellbeing tīma who mahi (work) hard with a mission to uplift maturity but don't take ourselves too seriously at the same time
**What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?**
We are looking for a self-starter who has a problem-solving mindset and a strong desire to enable wellbeing at an organisational level.
**What technical skills are REQUIRED for this role?**
- Clinical understanding of physical and mental health conditions and the NZ health system & processes.
- Understanding of injury prevention strategies and experience implementing early intervention programmes.
- Strong communication skills, including ability to present to groups throughout organisation.
- Clinical background, ideally qualification in Occupational Therapy, Occupational Health, Physiotherapy, Psychology or similar.
**Why did the last person leave this role?**
Our out-going wellbeing business partner is very reluctant to leave this position and the HS&W team. She is leaving to follow her partner whose role has moved overseas.
**What is the most challenging thing about this opportunity?**
Wherever there is challenge there is reward & this role is rewarding You are supporting vulnerable colleagues dealing with life's complexities. You will need resilience and maturity and the ability to be flexible allocating your time according to how the day evolves.
