He angitūtanga - The opportunity
The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) is a Crown Entity whose purpose is to mobilise New Zealanders to be world leaders in clean and clever energy use. One of the programmes we run is the Sector Decarbonisation Programme which is establishing industry specific decarbonisation pathways for NZ's small-to-medium businesses.
Due to growth, we have a new Programme Advisor - Sector Decarbonisation role available to help us expand and accelerate the programme's reach.

**On a day-to-day basis, that includes**:

- engaging and working with key stakeholders such as Sector Associations, representative sector businesses, sector and technical experts, international experts
- coordinating and contributing to pathway content development and delivery into EECA and partner marketing and communications channels
- supporting the broader functions of the programme like workshop and conference attendance, co-funding and contract administration, opportunity and impact analysis.

He kōrero mōu - About you
To be successful in this role, you'll be excellent at understanding clients, and confident at managing partnerships. Your current role likely involves developing content and tools, or driving behaviour change within businesses (ideally with an energy or carbon management focus).

**In addition, you will have experience in**:

- stakeholder engagement and relationship management
- content development for delivery through marketing and communications channels
- identifying and implementing business change or growth opportunities
- the challenges facing businesses and whole sectors seeking to reduce their carbon emissions.
