**Te whai wāhitanga | The opportunity**
The Programme Support team is responsible for supporting delivery of Treaty settlements and national programmes. The team works closely with regional Te Puni Kōkiri kaimahi, iwi, Māori organisations and central government agencies to carry out its work. As an advisor in the Programme Support team you will:
- Support the Manager to deliver the work programme and contribute to overall team success.
- Support and manage relationships with key external and internal partners.
- Collect, check, collate and analyse data for use by stakeholders and to measure investment success.
- Contribute to delivering and evaluating programmes.
**Mōu | About you**
We are looking for kaimahi who bring an open mindset and who are committed to learning and growing their skills and knowledge on the job. We are looking for:
- Comfortable working in an ao Māori environment, and in situations where tikanga is observed. Having a level of competency in te reo Māori is ideal, or at the minimum strong willingness to learn.
- High standard of written communication skills.
- Understanding of the machinery of government and knowledge of legislation as mentioned in the Position Description.
- Agile and adaptable in your approach to work.
