About the Role
MSD's Transformation Office is responsible for leading the strategic management of MSD's overall Integrated Work programme, which includes Te Pae Tawhiti Programme as well as all other work in portfolios.
The Transformation Office are a team of trusted experts and advisors, offering support and guidance to MSD in value delivery and transformation, while being the stewards and custodians of enterprise information as a single source of truth, using data to provide problem-solving and decision support, and sponsoring effective ways of working for change delivery.
The Principal Programme Advisor, Transformation Office is at the heart of the Transformation Office. It is a key advisory role, providing expertise and leadership in oversight of large change programmes.
This role ensures consistent fit for purpose portfolio and programme approaches are applied, enabling delivery and value realisation to be optimised from MSD's investment in change.
The role leads a centre of excellence, designs and owns frameworks, builds confidence with stakeholders, and creates transparency and insight for decision makers.
About You
- Significant experience in complex portfolio, programme design or delivery
- Significant experience in Enterprise level planning in a multi model delivery approach
- Experience in the use of and implementation of Enterprise portfolio and programme management (PPM) tools
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise portfolio and/or programme approaches and standards
- Knowledge, understanding and experience in providing advisory services
- Proven ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders including senior management, to achieve desired outcomes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - able to identify and define problems, provide solutions, and make decisions through the exercise of sound and appropriate judgement - frequently in time pressured situations.
- Able to participate confidently and competently in situations that involve processes, systems and organisations based on ‘Matauranga Māori'

Position Description

**Salary range**: $136,999 - $170,448
