Wallace Cotton are a family-owned luxury bed linen, homeware and sleepwear business founded in 2006. We’ve grown into one of New Zealand’s leading bed linen brands with eight retail stores across the country and a thriving online business.

**The Role**

This is a full-time role (approx 40 hours per week), and as the Production Assistant, you will be part of a busy team in the brand new North Shore Distribution Centre and Head Office. You will be responsible for a wide range of duties to support the Production Department in the production and quality control of all homewares and clothing. From checking quality and specs of all samples and bulk shipments, to sample management including organising all photo shoot samples and assisting on the location shoot, to inspecting and reporting on all faulty items, this role is central to maintaining the quality standards of Wallace Cotton. You will also assist the Production Manager as required.

**About You**

You will have the ability to self-manage and show initiative. You can successfully work under pressure and effectively meet and exceed deadlines. You can work both autonomously and as part of a team, and have the ability to prioritise workflow to meet critical deadlines. You will be able to proactively identify issues and provide creative solutions.

Excellent time management and organisational skills are a must, along with high attention to detail and great communication skills.

Most important of all though, you will have a good work ethic and a great attitude to learning and being part of a dynamic team

Ideally you will have experience in Apparel design and production, as well as some sewing experience.

You will also need a full NZ driver's licence.
