We are recruiting for a permanent fulltime Warehouse Assistant to join our friendly & motivated Warehouse team of 4 at our NZ warehouse facility in Rosedale, located 30 minutes from Auckland CBD. This role will work the hours of 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.

Reporting to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager- NZ, our Warehouse Assistant will assist to ensure our warehouse and distribution standards set by Metagenics ANZ are met consistently, by ensuring all incoming orders are received.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurate picking & packing of customer orders
• Devanning & receipting of containerised stock
• Utilise our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, Microsoft D365 for accurately receipting all delivered orders
• Adhere to all procedures and work instructions as determined by the Warehouse & Distribution Manager
• Control of inventory using our IR mobile device
• Be proactive in cleaning and maintaining workstations and the warehouse
• Aim to reduce error and inefficiency, and report any failures in technology or system to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager
• Manually handle equipment and stock as instructed
• Consistently maintain the picking/packing rates & accuracy as determined by the Warehouse & Distribution Manager
• Participate in stocktakes/cycle counts when required
• Effectively contribute to all aspects of warehousing activities as required

To be successful in this role you will need…

• Effective verbal communication skills with a friendly and open workplace approach to our wider team and external stakeholders
• Ability to maintain a consistent level of manual receipting accuracy
• Forklift ticket is highly desired, or have a willingness to attain on appointment
• Have an Accredited Person certificate, or have a willingness to attain on appointment
• To be comfortable standing for long periods, and be willing to lift up to 25kg periodically
