The Senior Advisor Learning and Development (L&D) has an important role to play in building this culture. There is opportunity to make this role your own, through learning focused on leadership development, Māori Crown relations capabilities, core professional skills, organisation culture, employee experience and diversity, equity and inclusion.
This opportunity would suit a learning and development superstar who is excited to:
- Take a lead role in the development of a L&D framework and associated strategies, processes, guidance and templates
- Consult with the business to provide high-level learning advice on learning and development requirements to identify effective learning solutions
- Influence and enhance our internal L&D community of practice
- Source, design, develop, deliver, evaluate and report on enterprise-level learning programmes and outcomes
- Facilitate learning events for a broad range of audiences including senior leaders
- Role model culturally affirming practices through your approaches and relationships; and
- Support the operational delivery of learning events.
Ō pūkenga | Skills and Experience
**To be successful in this role you will ideally bring**:
- Extensive experience and expertise across the learning and development lifecycle
- Experience implementing a range of learning solutions to a wide variety of audiences including different role types, neurodiversity and a range of lived experiences
- A commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and an understanding of te ao Māori, te Reo me ōna tikanga Māori
- Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural worldviews and how this translates to a learning context
- Practical experience with learning management systems (ideally Totara Learn), authoring tools and wizardry with Microsoft Office products including MS Teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills; and
- Personal qualities such as a growth mindset, curiosity, creativity, adaptability, patience, tenacity and a sense of humour.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $97,208 and $125,683, based on skills and experience.
