About the role
The Electoral Commission is looking for an experienced Learning and Development (L&D) practitioner for its Operations group, on a 6-month Fixed Term or Secondment contract.
The Senior Learning and Development Advisor will deliver efficient, high calibre, and timely learning and development initiatives, to meet the needs of the business and its people. This will involve identification, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of change training.
What you'll be doing | He aha tāu e mahi ana
- Translating strategic outcomes into operational delivery
- Conducting training needs analyses
- Planning and delivering quality learning content, materials, and resources, including e-learning
- Providing learning and development advice to managers and leaders
- Working collaboratively with other L&D staff across the Electoral Commission

What you'll need to succeed | Ko ngā mea ka hiahiatia e koe kia angitū
- Experience in building and managing effective relationships, both internally and externally
- Demonstrated advanced planning and organisational skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and good judgement skills
- Experience in managing multiple tasks and adapting to changing needs
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- At least three years' experience in Learning and Development profession
- A tertiary degree level qualification in a relevant field or the equivalent work experience
