**The role**
Reporting to the National Service Manager, the **_Technical Dealer Support_** representative will have day to day involvement with the dealer network offering technical support and solutions on all technical matters.
This role will suit any qualified automotive technician looking for their first off tools role and/or seeking more of a work-life balance as well as the ability to further develop your career.
Further duties will include:
- Daily contact with the dealer network to offer technical support to all technicians and staff within the dealer network
- Assist with maintenance of press vehicles and the company's fleet vehicles
- Aftersales operations involvement
- Develop and maintain in depth understanding of all technical diagnostic and special tools
- Offer support of a technical nature to customers
- Domestic and international travel if and when required
- Attend product training when required
- Carry out technical investigations within the dealer network
- Working on the in-house dealer management computer system
**Requirements**:
- A strong relationship building ability - to build good relationships with dealerships, service providers, and customers
- Be a qualified automotive technician with strong diagnostics capabilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service focused
- Solid problem solving skills
- Have the ability to work well in a team environment
- Possess good time management skills
- Solid computer literacy skills including Excel and mail merge experience
