**The company**
This automotive distributor is recognised as one of the most progressive automotive brands both in New Zealand and worldwide, with over 30 outlets nationwide including the National Headquarters in Auckland.
Based at a top vehicle distributor and supporting the after sales team, in this role you will provide customers and the dealer network with after sales assistance and offer customer service beyond their expectations.
This is achieved through a devoted team with unparalleled work ethic and innovative product design driven by smart technologies and market leading sales volumes.
**The role**
You will work with the entire dealer network with matters relating to products, service delivery, and brand procedures to ensure customer satisfaction targets are met on a daily basis. You will also provide assistance with warranties, dealer management systems, as well as road side assistance policies, queries, and schedules.
This role will suit a professional Service Advisor looking for a role with the distributor and wanting more of a work-life balance.
- Further duties will include:
- Daily contact with the dealer network to maintain excellent service levels and support
- Maintain a full understanding of service operations, systems, and procedures
- Conflict resolution
- Respond to customer enquiries
- Assist dealers with daily warranty claim queries and auditing
- Preparation and maintenance of Service menu pricing and campaigns within the network
- Maintenance and management of customer satisfaction survey queries and follow up, record, and track inquiries
- Maintain customer data base
- Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process to the dealer network
- Travel to dealers for review and auditing
- Ensure dealer to client contact regarding maintenance, recalls, and campaigns
- Promotion of after sales products - service plans, extended road side assistance plans, as well as other promotional activities
- Respond directly to customers when required
- Working on the in-house dealer management computer system
**Requirements**:
- A background in franchise automotive dealerships would be ideal but is not essential
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service focused person
- Ability to handle conflict situations and resolve problems
- Able to mentor and coach others in customer service procedures
- Solid computer literacy skills including Excel and mail merge experience
- Have the ability to travel domestically to dealerships
- Ability to build good relationships with dealerships, service providers, and customers
