We’re a squad made up of Developers, Testers, Specialists and BAs who call ourselves the Optimists. Our squads main mission is to manage all aspects of support for our online shopping fulfillment systems for our entire Stores/eStore network. We’re a team who pride ourselves on our collaborative culture; we work together to deliver the best results

Our customers are at the heart of everything we do here at Countdown so this role will see you really make a difference in the lives of Kiwis by ensuring an online shopping experience that’s second to none.

**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
From setting up new store online systems, producing knowledge base documents to testing new functionality of software and hardware, these are just a few of the exciting projects you’ll get to work on, not to mention your career growth and the great team of experts you’ll be able to band with Seeing your work come to fruition in the positive experiences our customers are receiving when they shop online as well as our online teams getting the support they need, is truly rewarding.

To be successful in this role you will be a positive and approachable person with a can-do attitude. We are looking for someone that can work collaboratively across the team and wants to keep developing their skills. You will have a strong background in applicaitons support and
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Competent with Kanban or SCRUM
- Resourceful and creative
- Technical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships within all areas of the company.
- Experience in delivering technical customer support activities.
